NHL trade review: Coyotes acquire Hjalmarsson for Murphy, Dauphin

                The Arizona Coyotes have acquired defenseman Niklas Hjalmarsson from the Chicago Blackhawks in exchange for defenseman Connor Murphy and forward Laurent Dauphin.

                 Hjalmarsson, 30, won three Cups over ten seasons in Chicago. In 2016-17, he scored 18 points (five goals and 13 assists) in 73 games. He scored 143 points (23 goals and 120 assists) in 623 career games, all in Chicago.

                Murphy, 24, scored 17 points (two goals and 15 assists) in 77 games this season. He has 49 points (13 goals and 36 assists) in 258 career games, all for the Phoenix/Arizona Coyotes organization.

               Dauphin, 22, scored three points (two goals and one assist) in 24 games this season. The former 39th overall pick has scored just four points (three goals and one assist) in 32 career NHL games, all for Arizona.
